Hmmmm well I haven't updated in a while due to being away from the internet. I completed a 3 day liquids fast and i lost 4-5kg, although right after I had finished I had fast food the next two nights.. So I am not to happy about that at all. Starting again trying to liquid fast as long as I can, although I have to go out for dinner on Thursday so I'll just have to not eat and exercise a lot until then :) I ran nearly 3km the other night with my friend (after I ate KFC).. I am going to try and go for a walk today for at least an hour or so depending on how I feel and also some sit ups and maybe go skip :) I am extremely hungry right now, I have a couple of soups in the house to last me till pay day. I also want to buy this meal replacement drink called MYOPLEX LITE, it seems like an interesting product and it has a lot of good reviews. Again I am aiming for under 500cal today at least, an hour of walking/jogging, and to keep my mind occupied. Also might make a thinspiration book and fill it up with tips and photos.
Fasts I want to try:
(The milk and fruit fast: 3x a day, a glass of milk, raw fruit and water)
(Green tea fast)
(Juice fast)
(Water fast)
(vegetable fast)
Here are 3 of my favorite tips that have worked for me.
1. If you are about to binge, pick a safe food, preferably negative calorie (pickles, celery, blueberries, etc.) and eat it non-stop for up to half an hour, taking a sip of water with each bite. Often you will not be able to even get up to half an hour, and you will be full so the desire to binge will be gone, but you haven't eaten anything "bad.
2. Eat low-calorie foods with very intense flavors. Often times you just crave taste. Chili peppers, anything pickled, peppermints, and very concentrated bullion (make it with half the water recommended) are all good options
3.Drink water! This is the #1 rule for ana. It fills you up when you are hungry
The general rule is also that hot water fills you up more and ice cold water helps you to burn more calories since it lowers your body temperature so your body has to work harder to stay warm.
